Retreat at Minsteracres Retreat Centre

 Nestled within towering redwood trees and peaceful countryside grounds, our retreat at Minsteracres Retreat Centre offers the opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and truly reset.

Created by two experienced yoga teachers with different teaching styles and approaches, this retreat is designed to welcome all ages, abilities, and stages of life. Whether you are completely new to yoga or have practiced for years, you will feel supported throughout your stay.

Expect nourishing movement, mindful walks through the forest, meditation, forest bathing, rest, reflection, and meaningful connection in a calm and peaceful setting.

What Makes This Retreat Different

 This retreat blends two complementary styles of teaching:

  • Flowing Vinyasa and deeply restorative Yin Yoga, sound bath. 
  • Gentle Hatha Yoga and modified yoga suitable for over 50s or anyone wanting a softer, more mindful approach

Together, the sessions create balance — movement and stillness, energy and calm, strength and softness.

Our aim is not perfection or intense schedules. This retreat is about feeling good in your body, calming your mind, and giving yourself space to breathe. 


Who Is This Retreat For?

 This retreat is suitable for:

  • Beginners and experienced yogis
  • Solo travellers
  • Friends attending together
  • Men and women of all ages
  • Those wanting rest, relaxation, and gentle connection
  • Anyone feeling overwhelmed, busy, or in need of a reset

You do not need to be flexible or experienced to join. Every class will offer modifications and options to suit your body and comfort level.

What To Expect

 

Over the retreat you can expect:

  • Daily yoga sessions
  • Guided meditation and breathwork
  • Forest bathing and mindful walks
  • Time to relax, journal, reflect, or explore the grounds
  • A peaceful and welcoming atmosphere
  • Nourishing homemade meals
  • Meaningful connection with like-minded people

The schedule is designed to feel balanced and spacious, with plenty of free time between sessions.

Accommodation

 Guests will stay in comfortable single bedrooms with sinks.

Bathrooms and showers are shared, with separate toilet and shower facilities located close to all bedrooms.

The retreat centre is surrounded by beautiful woodland and peaceful countryside, creating a quiet and secluded environment perfect for rest and restoration.

Food & Meals Included

 Your retreat includes nourishing meals throughout your stay, including:

  • Breakfast
